Past trips had not been with my girlfriend but with our respective partners and friends so this visit abroad without our men and with 3 kids in tow was sure to be an adventure.

Bali always manages to awaken the creative within and ignite that spark to step outside of my comfort zone and try something different. With that in mind, Bali again opened doors and as fate would have it, provided opportunities like this where I have been able to make one of my passions and dreams a reality.

It was fate - I managed to get lost on our way back to our villa when we took a wrong turn into an unfamiliar street, straight out of the taxi who had no idea where he was going. - now lost somewhere between Kuta and Changuu. Just as we were getting a little anxious..... what should we see right in front of us? the exact bag we had been searching for the past week….

Our chance meeting with our new friend enabled me to bring to our shores individually designed and handcrafted high quality handbags, decorative arts, accessories and home decor from across the globe.

My first collection is an eclectic range of tribal, vintage and ethnic pieces handmade by the elders and Hmong tribespeople from the hill tribes of Northern Thailand.

The Hmong trademark embroidery "garden flowers and ‘birds of flight" consist of bold geometric designs often realized in bright, contrasting colours. Different patterns and techniques of production are associated with geographical regions and cultural subdivisions within the Hmong community.
